🔍Search & Filters
The Timeflow view can be searched and filtered by name, component type, and channels.
To search the whole scene, set the Display Mode to Everything.
In the Timeflow view, click the magnifying glass icon to enable search mode.

This reveals a text-based search field and drop down menus to filter by component type and channel name. The view is automatically filtered while search mode remains active.

Search by Name
Type any part of a name that you wish to search for. The search is not case-sensitive. This also includes any channel names containing the search term.
Filter by Type
The drop down menu next to the search field presents a list of all component types gathered from the currently displayed objects.

When a type is selected, it displays only those objects with a matching component type.

Filter by Channel Name
The drop down menu on the right presents a list of unique words that appear within the currently displayed channel names.

Only channels containing the selected word are displayed

All three may be combined to narrow the results.

Clear Search
Click the X button on the right to clear all the search terms. Use this to reset the field and drop down menus to start a new search.
Priority Types and Channels
The sorting of the component types and channel names in the drop down menus can be customized by giving priority to any matching the prioritized list.
Open the Timeflow Preferences by clicking the gear icon in the upper right corner of the Timeflow view. Or from the main menu select Edit/Preferences.../Timeflow

You may customize the items and sorting of each list to meet your current needs. In the Timeflow view, any types matching those in the prioritized list are shown at the top above the dividing line.

And similarly the channel names menu can also be given special priority for any names matching or containing a prioritized name.
