The following pages cover each of the features shown in the top panel of the Timeflow view.
Click the logo in the upper left to refresh the current view and select the active Timeflow object. This is a quick way to access the settings.
Refreshing the view rebuilds the object hierarchy and re-runs setup for all channels and behaviors. This can be helpful when troubleshooting to fix playback or initialization issues.
When using Timeflow for playback only, it helps to hide the main view to reduce screen clutter and improve performance (i.e. fewer UI draw calls).
Use the keyboard shortcut Control + Alt + Shift + W to toggle the minimized state.
When the Timeflow window is undocked from the layout, minimizing collapses the Timeflow view to a small vertical size. Then when un-minimizing, the view is restored to it previous placement and size.
Note that this only works for an undocked view, since while in a layout the size cannot be dynamically changed.
If this preference setting is enabled, the Timeflow view will reposition to the bottom of the screen when minimized. Or if this option is off, then the view will minimize in place without repositioning.
Use the small toggle button in the upper right corner to show or hide the lower panels.
