📅Values Column

Realtime view of channel values

The values column is an optional panel which may be collapsed or expanded by pressing the tiny arrow icon at the top of the object panel, next to the lock icon. This displays the value of each channel at the current time of the playhead.

This screenshot also demonstrates the wide range of field types that can be animated in Timeflow.

On channels that support keyframes, changing the value sets a new keyframe at the current time or edits the value of an existing keyframe if already set. This offers a quick way to move the playhead to different times and set keyframes.

One way to tell whether the playhead is currently on a keyframe is to look at the diamond shape between the previous and next keyframe arrows (next to the channel name). If the diamond is filled in orange (not grey), then there is a keyframe set at the current time.

Track Visibility

The values column also displays a drop-down menu to set the track visibility mode for objects. The default value is On, which means the object state remains on and unaffected by the track.

Please refer to the documentation on Track Visibility for further details.

When using channel links, a small drop-down men is displayed in the values column to select the channel link mode. This is followed by an operator (=, +, -, ...) to indicate the mode selected.

For further information, see Channel Link.
